Dr DOROTHEA EIMERT, director of the Leopold-Hoesch Museum in Düren, Germany, wrote in the catalogue "Edible Paper oder die Lust zu Essen"

................"The Leopold-Hoesch-Museum Düren presents in the exhibition with the topic "EDIBLE PAPER ODER DIE LUST ZU ESSEN" the latest creation by 23 artists from 12 nations. The idea for this exhibition comes from the designer and paper artist Josephine Tabbert, Munich. She organized a competition among the artists of IAPMA, The International Association of Hand Papermakers and Paper Artists. In Düren the contributions were juried by specialized art experts in June 1998. .......................

.....................Paper and Paper Art is a topic I have been coping with intensively since 1980. In 1981 I presented the first Paper Art exhibition in Europe which presented the then new American Paper Art with coloured paper material and handmade paper."........

My contribution selected by the jury was "WAFFLES FOR FRIENDS AND ENEMIES". (more info)
